Through a cross between hard work and connections on my dad/sister's side we have been asked to cater for a local professional football team for after their training sessions and so far they have been amazed and hugely impressed with the quality of the food we have supplied, and a massive improvement for where they got it from last season. It is mainly cold things but there is the occasional hot thing as well such as the lasagne (mentioned above), spag bol or chicken curry etc. It is looking good....

The city has been under water since Friday. It started raining on the 1st and continued to the 4th - over 9 inches in a city with no storm drains... DH and the car floated off the road several times. Some farm-to-market roads are still closed. Part of FM2528 which is near us has dead (drowned) cows on the roadway
