Alex Plank - Filmmaker

Postby goddessoflubbock » Thu Dec 24, 2009 12:53 am

Apparently Alex Plank has ventured into filmmaking.

There is a 10 minute video on youtube (I'm on my Blackberry so can't post the link, sorry), I'm not sure if it's just a trailer or the whole thing.

It is of course about autism, the comment mentions Temple Grandin.

I have also not been able to see the video (Blackberry is having issues).

I watched it, I saw it on his twitter, via facebook. Though I had to remove him from my facebook page because his tweets were overwhelming, to say the least.

That is the video.

It was good as a personal video thing, but it's been blown out of proportion. Honestly not all that much is said, so I really don't know if it can be considered a "documentary." I believe that 10 minutes is the entire length of the video. Alex interviews Temple Grandin for part of the documentary, so that is why she is mentioned.

Thanks for posting the link

I found out about it via a retweet on twitter.

I was far too annoyed by him to ever add him to my FB or Twitter

No problem.

I think I added him on Facebook a long time ago, and he only recently became active. At first it was just a few posts a day but then it quickly exploded to tweets every couple of minutes  .

Some people tweet about what they have just eaten or about combing their hair and stuff like that. Does Alex tweet like that?

I'm not sure as I did not read all of his tweets. Many of them were about his vehicle.

Apparently, Alex has been asking for donations so he can upgrade WP, so this may explain his increase in activity.

I prefer John Elder Robison. He does occassionally talk about his vehicles, but he is never trying to raise money ;). Besides, I already have his book
