Loneliness makes you cold

All I will say is "Discuss". Seems strange to me is some ways... Small sample size, and a wide range of answers. And they don't say what the "correct" answer was. If the temperature was low then it may be isolated people are capable of being in tune with their environment.

Just corrected the stupid 2 spelling mistakes in the title - well it was posted in the early hours of the morning.

Gonna have to think about that for awhile.

But definitely, if I'm curled up on the couch with a warm blanket and a nice bowl of soup, it's hard to feel lonely...

Um -- I think they're missing factors like bodyheat, laughter - factors that would cause someone to feel warmer.

I don't think you can just raise the temperature at a party and the excluded ones would all of a sudden be included.

I would like to be alone enough, just once, to feel lonely. LOL

That is interesting, I definitely identify with the article.

I have in the past and still continue to feel cold when I'm to myself. I use to have this trouble at school and especially when I was off doing my own thing. Sometimes I wore layers of shirts or a jacket. Wasn't always a good feeling.... :(

Nothing like having a cat to keep extra warm.
Oh you can't help that. We're all mad here!

Works for me. Abandoned in a warm room, left on my own, when someone breaks a promiss or a commitment, yes I do get ice cold. And no hot shower gets me warm again. No matter how sweaty I can get. I stay cold to the bone.
Whereas someone telling me something caring, even from far away, or in a letter, will warm me.

A few days ago a friend did send me a shawl to warm me, literally and even more by manner of speach. The mere thought of her sending me this shawl, when I could use some encouragement, warmed me already.
