Hello Ruth. I am glad you like it here so far. I looked at your avatar for quite a while, I like the colour contrast.

Where are you from, if you don't mind my asking?

Hello Renaeden. Nice to meet you. I do like it here. Thanks. About my avatar: I decided to keep it (the painting) simple; no halo, no hair, no facial features, no texture. I wanted the hands and the keyboard to dominate and I wanted the keyboard to "float". Most of my work is more involved. I love fabric and usually adorn the people I paint with clothing or drapery that suggest intricate patterns and textures.

I am from the North East Coast of the United States. When I feel more comfortable here, perhaps I will be more revealing. :D
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now. Dylan

Oh yeah, well uh... well... um...

Well, we won the Revolution! So there!  ;)

(Of course by "we" I don't actually mean my family, since all but one branch of it was still living in various parts of Europe during the late 1700s.)

That's why you have George W. Bush as president  You got rid of one mad George only to get lumbered with another mad George... but this time one with a big red button rather than ruby-coloured urine!!!

I say this with the recognition that the UK Government is probably just as corrupt as the USA one! At least we have the Queen  I wonder what the USA do for stamps without a monarch's head... a tradition started by Oliver Cromwell - lol

I wish we could have the Queen as our President actually... She'd be doing a damn site better. No Parliament necessary. ;)
