Of course it still has to pass the Senate, and even after that happens most provisions don't become effective until 2013.

I suspect it will also be quite watered down before it passes the Senate.

Part of the plan as it is now written addresses the huge hole in prescription coverage in Medicare. As it now stands, I would actually run into the whole after about two months, at which point I'd have to pay 100% of my prescriptions until I paid out about $4,200, at which point medicare would pickup again at 95%.

The good news is they would also up the lower end for medicaid which would help a lot of people in TX I know.
