I cringe at some of the mis-informed and uneducated things other NT's say and tthink regarding those on the spectrum.
OTOH even tho it may not be directed at me personally, whenever someone paints all NT's with the same brush I bristle.
Unfortunately it is human nature to be uncomfortable with someone different, whether it's NT vs ASD, or black vs white, male vs female. We tend to seek the negative in others instead of the positive.
