The gear looks huge. Amazes me it's not more of a hindrance than a safety precaution for firemen/-women.

That makes sense. Your respirator might not fit properly over a beard.

That makes sense. Your respirator might not fit properly over a beard.
And if I showed up not clean shaven I would be demonstrating push ups for everyone as well as dry shaving.

I have enjoyed seeing the pictures everyone posted and reading the posts! I have no need to post my picture because when I first joined Gestalt, Sophist helped me re-size my photo because I could not get it to load...something about the amount pixels. Thanks again! I use my pic instead of an avatar.
I look the same now as I did just over a year ago when the picture was taken except I'm a little grayer and have a full beard right now.
